Did I still get my moneys worth with this new screen protector that is now damaged?

I recently spent $80 for a screen protector for my iPhone XS Max, but I ended up dropping my new phone 3 days afterwards that had caused 2 hairline cracks to appear on my screen protector. My question is, did I still get my money's worth with this now cracked screen protector? I just want to know if I did because I feel like I'm being ripped off spending another $80 for another screen protector.

I also have my previous screen protector which is from the same company and is the same model that I could get them to replace using the new warranty claim from the other screen protector, but that would be immoral. It's also against my own philosophy to be dishonest. My previous one is faulty and has no cracks on it.

Added (1). Both these screen protectors have a lifetime guarantee.

Dear, mr. Autism send it back claiming the warranty or return it to the store claiming it's defective. For $80 it shouldn't easily break. If it was $80 and broke but your phone screen didn't it's because you got ripped off and over paid for cheap tempered glass.

also, there's nothing wrong with claiming a warranty on a faulty product.

What was guaranteed under the warranty? Does the phone still work? These are just a few questions you should ask yourself.

It protected your new phone, so it did what you paid for it to do.

Probably, just cause you dropped it don't nnean it wasn't any good, accidents happen

If your phone isn't cracked or damaged… Then the screen protector did its job.

The point is that the protector takes the damage. Its cheaper/easier to replace the screen protector than to repair or replace the phone

Yes, because it saved your iPhone. If you didn't have the screen protector, then you'd have cracked your iPhone screen. Replacing an iPhone costs a lot more than $80, so it was worth it.

Screen protectors protect from scratches. They do not prevent a phone from damages caused by dropping it, throwing it, drowning it, banging it with a hammer, etc.

If you wan't another one, buy it

There isn't a screen protector worth $80 and your entire series of BS questions is bad trolling.

If your screen didn't crack, you got your money's worth.

  • Should I get a new tempered glass screen protector? My parents bought me a new phone (iPhone 6s) after my old one got waterdamaged and they bought a tempered glass screen protector with it. In school, it fell off of my desk face down onto the carpet. It cracked a little bit but I don't think the phone's actual screen cracked with it. Should I get a new one or just keep it?
  • Scratches on my screen or screen protector? I just bought the iPhone 5 and it has an otter box and a screen protector. I notice small thin scratches (they won't even come off with screen cleaner). Is it only my screen protector that is scratched or do you think my screen could have scrated that easy? Thanks so much! Btw I don't want to take the protector off to check because it is put on perfectly.
  • Rugged/waterproof iPhone 5 case compatible with screen protector/back film protector? Was wondering if there's any iPhone 5 case out there that is compatible with a screen protector and/or a back film protector on the iPhone itself? I understand cases like Lifeproof need you to remove your screen protector so it can maintain it's waterproof abilities. Was just looking for a case that can work both ways.
