Disabled from school's network.fixable?
So apparently my Wi-Fi privileges at my local school got removed because I visited some forums that they deemed not good (bodybuilding.com, reddit, etc.) on my iPhone. Now whenever I try to connect, it just tells me that my Wi-Fi access has been disabled. I really need Wi-Fi on my phone… Is there anyway to fix this (like erasing something)?
Most likely, they blocked your phone's MAC address from accessing the network. If you look hard enough, there should be a way of masking or changing your phones MAC address for a short time.
Talk to the school computer department. Not sure why you would get blocked for the sites you listed. If you were using reddit to link to free movies you might take to much bandwidth.
I suggest coordinating with whoever operates your school's computer network. Explain to them exactly why you need Wi-Fi for your phone, and especially why you've been visiting sites like Bodybuilding.com. If they like what they hear, you'll have a better chance of convincing them to unblock you.
- Shattered iPhone 4S screen fixable? Three days ago me and my boyfriend got in a fight and he smashed my phone on a stone wall resulting in the screen being completely shattered. The screen itself doesn't work or show any image it's completely blank so I thought it was broken… Until someone tried calling. My phone still rings the screen is just broken. My brother knows someone that can replace the screen for $60 but do you think the screen itself is fixable?
- Is this fixable? And if it is can I use it while keeping my current contract? I have an iPhone 4th gen and I was wondering If I could switch to my brothers old iPhone 5s. I'm not sure if it's fixable though. The home button fell off and the screen is in horrible condition. A rough estimate of how much it would cost would be great too.
- Is my chipped iphone corner fixable? (picture)? A class mate of mine dropped my new iphone 5s and it chipped is it fixable? How much would it cost? here are pics of it
- Iphone 4 broken.is this fixable? I had it in my pocket in the gym and rest some dumbells on it on accident. The glass screen isn't cracked but i think the graphics card broke (not sure though). All you can see is a bunch of red lines on the screen.
