Do all apple devices have the same charging dock?

Where you plug in the other end of the usb cable, the part that goes in the device. Are they all the same plug ex.)Iphone 5 will work with older iphone. Do they change the ports at all when they come out with new generation devices? Would an ipad charger work with all versions of iphones, would it work with 3g?

All iphones, ipods use the same cable. Only the new products coming out use a diferent one like the iphone5, ipad 4, and ipod5

Nope. All iPods, Pads and phones switched to a new dock connector this year. The old ones aren't compatible without an adapter.

Yes Except IPhone 5 has a different charging dock from what I heard. I heard IPhone 5 can also be plugged in either way front or back of charger others only one way. Yes you can use iPhone charger to charge your iPads iPods iPhones except iPhone 5.

This latest generation of iOS devices do not use the 30 pin connector… They use a new 8 pin connector.

We use the same account and i wanted to know if the apps i download will download to his phone. And if i start using facetime and iMessage, if its going to send it to his phone as well? I added another email address (MINE) for the iMessage and Facetime, would that change anything? please anwser
