Do all new iPhones come with iOS 6?

I'm getting an iPhone 4s for Christmas, and I was wondering what software it came with. It's new, so would it come with iOS 5 or iOS 6? Either one is fine, currently my iPod touch it has iOS 4.2.1!

I think it depends on what it comes with by default, but both of them, either are or will definitely go up to and over 6.1 eventually.

Yes, the iPhone always comes with the latest version of iOS, and in any case, you just upgrade it for free if it needs to be updated. It does it automatically over the web.

It should do by now, but if I doesn't then you can update it anyway either via iTunes or the new in phone updater.
