Do birds return to there nests at night?
There's a birds nest on the top piller under our deck.
i noticed right now (its 11pm ) that momma wasn't there.
i didn't know if she layed an egg or not so decided to take a pic with my iphone while she wasn't there and there was one egg.
is she gonna come back? Its been over 2 hours and momma no come back yet: s
hope the stray cats didn't scare her away
I think its normal for birds to leave their nest for a couple of hours. I have a hummingbird nest outside my house and I always see the bird leaving for an hour or two then coming back. Hope that helped!
They do not start to incubate until the entire clutch of eggs is laid. She will lay more, and then she will start to incubate. Once she is incubating. Do not scare her from the nest at night, as she will likely sleep there.

- Is it true about flappy birds on eBay? All I've been hearing today is how much iPhones are going for on eBay because they have flappy bird on. I even checked eBay myself and the prices are ridiculous! Is it fake or are people actually bidding these ridiculous prices for a stupid game? Wow:/
