Do I have a chance at getting into UC Berkley or UCLA?

I did not do well my freshman year of high school. I really wish it did not count, but it does. I got a 3.0 GPA. I go to a very rigorous school, the one Bill Gates went too, and the one he now sends his two daughters too. I'm a junior now, and I have improved greatly. My sophomore year I had a 3.5 my first trimester, then to a 3.7, and then to a 3.9. Recently I have gotten a straight 4.0 my junior year and I'm going to keep it up. I took the SAT and I scored fantastically (2300). Unfortunately my GPA does not represent my intelligence. In terms of extra curricular activities I play for a prestigious academy soccer team that travels around the west coast of the United States. I have already been getting interest from some D1 schools, but UC Berkley is not and will not be one of them. In terms of playing collegiate soccer it is up in the air, I would love to go to a great school and get a good education. Beyond that - me and my friend started up a game company where we have developed web, IPhone, Android, and Windows 8 apps. We have over $15, 000 dollars in sales so far. I also have a pilots license. Will they take into account that I worked my rear end off to improve my grades?

Added (1). My school does not offer AP classes because it is a private independent school.

Try getting 4.6 or 4.7 GPA's (yes they're real) and although you've done a great job with your gaming company, try to do more volunteering work, like going to an orphanage and helping out every summer. Other than that, keep it up and good luck!

I don't know who told you freshman year counted for uc's but you're in luck (arent we all), because uc's use the uc GPA, which is you're grades from a-g courses from 10th and 11th grades.

I want to go to Columbia University really badly and I just finished grade 10. My marks are in the 90s like math and science but some subjects are in the 80s. I'm trying really hard too. Only god knows if you can get in or not. Try to get in if not go to another school
