Do I have a chance to save my hearing?
I have been listening to music to loud four a little over a year now. I don't do it full blast but like 2 away from it. I'm also 14 years old. Am I doomed to be def or hearing impaired when I'm older or do I have a chance to save my hearing. I also use apple earbuds on my iPhone when I listen to music.
Well, it is to your benefit that you noticed this early. Listen at lower volumes!
Ok
I feel you. I always blast my music but thats because I've recently stopped caring if the earbuds blow up. You won't lose your hearing if its just music like that, be careful though try not to turn it all the way up. Just control it if its too loud turn it down
Permanent hearing loss is what it says. Permanent. If your hearing loss is temporary, abstaining from abusing your ears will allow recovery.
Yes.
- My hearing got much better. I thought hearing never healed I used to listen to a lot of music and, on my iphone, i'd listen comfortably with all but two bars. Now half the vomume is loud enough for me, with same phone and earbuds
- Is my hearing bad for my age? I'm learning about decibels, bels, frequency, and sounds waves and what not… And I decided I want to test how well my hearing is. I took a sound test. Using iPhone earbuds… I can hear from 30 Hz to about 11kHz. Is that bad for a 17 year old girl? D: Am I going to be deaf by the time I'm 80? Lol Are there ways to improve your hearing?
