Do I have the FBI virus on my IPhone?
The pop-up came up, and after constantly trying to close it out, I finally managed too. I have an IPhone. Is it still on my IPhone? I also wen t on safari settings and cleared my history and website data.
Added (1). Also, my IPhone is jail broken.
No. There's no FBI virus.
That is a scam. Be careful… Do not do anything… Usually that kinda virus wants you to pay… Do not pay… Just try to close it… And might need stop visit that website…
Jail broken iphone are not protected… So bad websites allowed to visit and viruses can attack your phone… So it is not safe for jailed broken device to visit bad websites.
It is possible that you have the virus but very unlikely. I suggest backing up your phone on icloud or your computer and then restore the phone. A clean install will wipe any of those problems.
Thats just a fake webpage. Search and you can find info on it: http://www.justtext.com/messageboards/20150810172534.html?y85g There are alot of people complaining about those popups
- Why is it so hard for the FBI to hack the San Bernadino shooters iPhone? If the government has a department like the NSA filled with professional hackers, why do they need Apple to break the iPhone s encryption? Will it look bad if the government hacks the phone themselves? By the way, I'm not taking anyone s side here. I understand why Apple is reluctant to create this "back door" to bypass the iPhones encryption. And I know that hacking the shooters phone could answer so many questions people have.
- Why does the FBI have such a hard time cracking iPhone encryption. Why don't they just use the spy agencie's methods of using spyware? All you need is their phone number, and a cheap piece of software and you have access to everything on the phone (including deleted info) Why make a huge scene about it, when there are much easier ways to bypass lock screen encryption? You don't even need access to the phone, it can remotely install with just one phone call to the number too… Just saying, if the FBI really wanted in, it would be very easy
- Should FBI be allowed access to encrypted iPhone data when the they have obtained a valid search warrant? Should the FBI be able to force Apple to create an override for the delete after 10 wrong password entries feature on the iPhone to allow the FBI access to encrypted data when the FBI has obtained a valid search warrant?
- Is the FBI virus still on my iphone? The stupid pop up came up, and after trying for a while, I managed to close out the window causing the pop up. Is the virus still on my iPhone?
