Do I have to pay a two year contract for an iphone 5?
So my mom and I are changing our phone company to Verizon Wireless. I want to get the Iphone 5. Normally it's 650 dollars, but I want the two year contract when I get my Iphone is the price going to get lower & how much? Or just stay the same?
The price will definitely be cheaper with the contract. I believe with a contract it is $200 for the 16 GB model, $300 for 32 GB model, and $400 for the 64 GB model. But also the iPhone 5 price will go down once the new iPhone will be released this coming fall. The iPhone 4S will probably be free with contract.
Best Buy is the place to go, they offer a really good warranty for 12/per month, but anyways

iPhone 4S is cheaper then the iPhone 5 by a little bit 16GB is about 150$
iPhone 5 is 16GB - 200$
32GB - 300$
64GB - 400$
Not to mention your activation fee which depending on the company could be around 30 dollars or more

I'm a tmobile user that really wants to get the iphone 5.Is there any way to get the iphone 5 and still use tmobile, or will i be forced to open a new contract no matter what if i want the iphone 5? I'm apart of a tmobile family plan and it is only $30-40 a month, and I heard that the 2 year contract is $100+ a month.
- Is a two year contract actually two years? I just recently got a new job that will allow me to splurge a little bit and finally upgrade my phone. I hope to switch from Straight talk over to AT&T so i don't have to continue paying $300+ when I need a new phone. The iphone 6 is about $100 with AT&T s two year contract, and then I'm eligible for an upgrade. Will I be held in that two year contract or would I be able to upgrade earlier to a more recent version? How much does it generally cost to upgrade early?
