Do I need an Ipod Nano if I already have an Iphone?

Ostensibly, Iphone can play Mp3's and videos etc. The reason I'm asking is because I just lost my 4th ipod nano (4G). I have a Iphone 3gs that can play music (but i haven't used that feature yet) so should I feel bad about losing another stupid nano when I can just download my crap on my iphone?

Nope not at all if you ask me nanos are pretty pointless if you already have an iPhone unless you are like a power walker or running person in that case the iPhone is to heavy and big to put on your armband thingy.

  • What version of iTunes is compatible with iPod nano 5th gen and iPhone 4? I just downloaded the latest iTunes and my iPod is no longer compatible with it. However, my old version of iTunes wasn't compatible with my phone. Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with both devices? If so, where can I download it? Thank you! Whatever the latest iOS Apple sent out to iPhones was, that's what my phone is running i believe it's 6.something.

  • IPod Nano vs iPhone dock connector? Can I use a dock connector from a 4th Generation iPod Nano or iPod Classic on an iPhone 3GS. I think the dock connector is the problem with the iPhone, and the iPod Nano and Classic have good connectors, but don't work. Could I just remove the connector from one and insert it in the iPhone? Or do they use slightly different connectors or something?
