Do I need apple care in order to trade in cracked iPhone at apple store?
Do I need to have the apple care in order to trade in my IPhone 4S that is severely damaged for a new one?
You still need to have the one year warranty. If you have had it for more than a year, you need Apple Care
No. But without AP+ they will charge you $199 for a replacement. The 1 year warranty is a manufacturers warranty. Having AP+ lowers it to $79 so it pays for itself within one incident.
They can't sell AP+ to a damaged phone and regular Applecare doesn't cover damage. You can only puchase Applecare+ within the first 30 days of purchase. You can't put it on a replacement phone since it works off the existing warranty.
- If I use my Apple Care to get a new iPhone can I repurchase Apple Care again? I figure that because they will usually replace your troubled phone with a refurbished one you should be able to, but if anyone could weigh in on their knowledge or experiences I would appreciate it.
- If I order an iPhone on the Apple store I just ordered an iPhone on the Apple store yesterday and for company I chose T-Mobile, I was wondering that when it comes, will the phone automatically be connected and on and able to make calls or not?
- How much does it cost to trade an iPhone 4 in for an iPhone 5 in the Apple Store? I read it's possible to trade in your iPhone 4 plus some extra money for an iPhone 5 in an Apple Store. Does anyone know how much that would cost me with an iPhone 4 that only has some scratches on the back?
- How long does it take for apple store (aus) to process my order? I ordered an Iphone 4 on Saturday, and now it's Monday night and I keep checking but it's always on "processing." It says it will be delivered on Wednesday or Friday the latest (standard shipping) but I don't see how it will make it on time. How long does processing usually take?
