Do I need to unjailbreak my iPhone 4s before updating iOS 6?
I have my iPhone 4 S jail broken, I have cydia & I purchased tetherme for $5. I don't want to lose my subscription to tetherme but I do want iOS 6. Do I need to un jail break it before updating the iOS? Once they come out with the iOS jail break will I have access to Tetherme through Cydia still?
I really don't want to brick my phone - so most importantly, do I need to do anything before upgrading to iOS 6?
^This guy is an idiot. Yes iOS 6 is out. It came out today. I don't have the answer to your question, but this guys lack of knowledge - while commenting on a question is irritating.
Jailbreak for ios 6 is not supported for iphone 4s yet. Is ts for 4S with ios 5.1.1
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
- Updating iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 7 Beta? And i have an iPhone 4 running on Verizon, i'm trying to get the beta for iOS 7 because it looks really cool. I'm not computer ignorant, i just can't seem to find how to do this, my iPhone is not jailbroken or unlocked. I downloaded like 10 different files for ios 7 and they all give me an error saying they are not compatible
- Unjailbreak ios 6.1.2 - iphone 4s? I'm using Iphone 4s with iOS 6.1.2. I want to unjailbreak it without updating it to 6.1.3, so I downloaded an ipsw file for it (iPhone4, 1_6.1.2_10B146_Restore.ipsw), now I want to restore it with iTunes (Shift+click the "Restore iPhone… " button and choose the ipsw file).so I just want to know: is that ok to do it in that way?
