Do I really have unlimited data?
I have t-mobile and signed up for unlimited data and when I use my tmobile app for my iPhone 5 it says I have evrything unlimited but today I was watching a movie online using my data and received a message saying I have exceeded my data plan 4.5GB and my speed is terrible and it says LTE on my iPhone.
I'm a current T-Mobile user and have a Galaxy SII.
ALL T-mobile plans have unlimited data, but depending on the plan options you get they will throttle you at 500mb, 2.5gb, or unlimited. Once you are throttled your speed is drastically reduced and if you are going to use that much data every month then you will want to opt for their unlimited unlimited plan.
My guess is you have their 2.5gb plan, and you have exceeded it (by a great amount if you are at 4.5gb for the month). If you plan to use more than 2.5gb per month then the unlimited unlimited data plan is $10 more.
- Will I get charged for using 3G Internet if I have the unlimited data plan? My carrier is Sprint. I have an iPhone 4. I'm asking if I'll be charged if I don't use Wi-Fi.
- UK]What's the best monthly mobile contract for Unlimited data? I don't text very much or call very much but i use the internet/data a hell of a lot on my iPhone 36S. I used to be on contract but went pay as you go, i want to switch back but on the lowest contract possible with unlimited data. I'm currently on Orange, don't mind moving.
- Is iphone 5 really fun to have and is the camera really nice? I'm going to get iphone 5 I would like to know is it really fun I know you can download games but is it fun taking your iphone 5 whereever you go and is the camera really nice
- If you have T-Mobile and an unlocked iPhone 4S, is the data really slow? I live in Chicago so service isn't an issue. I'm just concerned not having 4G is going to be irritating… Also, I connect to Wi-Fi at home and at my university so honestly I maybe use data for 2-3 hours out of the day. Do apps like Pandora still load easily?
