Do iPhone users know if you've read their text?

I have an android, but I was just wondering if iPhone users can see if a text they sent you was "read" or not? Like are you able to see if someone has opened the text you sent them?

No if you send a text to a person that isn't using an I phone then they can see If you have read their text.

IPhone users can only see activity when both users have iMessage turned on or something like that. In short, no, since you use Android, they can't see you message activity.

If you own an iPhone and whoever you're sending a text to also owns an iPhone, then possibly. There's a setting that sends what's called a "read receipt", and if it's turned on, then yes they can. However, if it's turned off, or one of you doesn't own an iPhone, then no. You can adjust it in the Settings app

Yes and No. It depends if the other person has that option on. I think that both people should have iPhones so that you can have that read thing, not just one.

No. Not how text messages (SMS) works. You could get delivery reports to know the message was sent properly but wouldn't know if it was read.

Yes, but read receipts can be turned off, and even when its on, you can't know 100% if they actually read the message, unless they respond to it.
