Do iPhones have a GPS app out of the box or do I have to download an app?

Added (1). Wait I mean like, does it have a voice that just tells you "Turn left in half a mile" and all of that?
Cause just maps I'm no good with and that's a pain in the *** to try to figure out while driving

It has an TomTom powered map app that comes preinstalled on the iPhone. So the answer would be yes.
It is under your maps. You can type in an A and B destination and it will give you directions to the place your looking for.
You need to download one. I prefer Google Maps. It's free and works well.
- Will a new AT&T iPhone work out-of-box with a Cricket SIM? Was planning on pre-ordering the iPhone XR but realized there's no unlocked model available at launch. - I had to restore my iPhone because the iPhones store app wouldn't show up in any of my apps. Now that I restored it I have to download? All of my music again. When I click on the clouds to download it the spinning circles will come up and act like its gonna download for a little bit but then just stops and goes back to the clouds. None of my music will download. And my phones acting up now. Does anyone know how to fix this?
