Do my iCloud-enabled devices have to be on the same Wi-Fi network to sync?
I'm going out of town and having someone come over once a day to check on my cat. I'd like to set up a motion-activated feature on my iPad, which will save photos to the photo stream. Ideally, I'll be able to access these photos from my iPhone while I'm gone. I'm just not sure if the photo stream will sync with the devices without being on the same wireless network.
(I'm already looking for an app that will just email the pictures, but I'm not having much luck.)
You have to be on the same Wi-Fi network. If so, you can use wireless transfer app to share files between multiple devices.

- Will the next iPhone be NFC enabled? I'm just wondering whether NFC capability will be introduced in the iPhone 5S when it is launched.
- Old iphone Icloud lock still enabled after I buy a new iPhone with icloud on it? If I had my iPhone stolen with icloud lock on and I was tracking it. But I buy a new one and activate the icloud and tracker, does that mean the old iPhone is unlocked? What happens to it? Will I be notified if someone turns it on? Can I track it?
- Is there an easy way to get my MMS enabled with straight talk? I have an unjailbroken, unlocked, iphone 4 with the iOS 6.0.1 update. I use a microsim from the carrier straight talk, everything runs great on the phone except MMS. Every time I try to send a picture to someone that doesn't have iMessage, it says delivery failure. Apparently this is common with most iphone straight talk carriers, how can i enable this?
