Yeah they sometimes do. For example, people wear Beats headphones for better sound quality. It's not weird to wear headphones with an iPhone… It's all personal preference.
Yes people use headphones with the iphone. Not really weird looking, completely fine, but i use ear buds while I walk to the bar, don't want a big set of headphones while I sit there for a couple hours. My point is if you're walking to a friends house beadphones all the way. But if you're walking to a public place, thats one more thing to keep track of.

I record videos on my Ipad using iphone ear buds plugged into the audio port, but when I listen to the video, there's this annoying almost static-sounding white noise that is distracting.
