Do snap on/hard shell cases scratch black iphone 5?

I have a black iphone 5 and I have been using a speck candyshell flip case ( with a screen protector front and back) which protects my phone really well but sometimes I want a lighter slim case for my phone. So I purchased a snap on case from VS Pink. I tried it on my phone today and love the light weight feel but as I'm taking the case off my phone I scratching against the side of my phone but didn't leave a scratch. I'm afraid that once l put the case on my phone and leave it on for a few days… Weeks… That it will badly scratch the side of my phone. * I have also heard of a full body screen protector that not only protects the front and bak of the iphone 5 but also the adhesive strips protect the sides and top ( by the lock switch ) of the phone. It's called BodyGuardz. Does anyone no if full body protectors are any good and can prevent the snap case from scRatching the sides of my phone?

Yes sometimes hard shell cases may scratch your phone. As we can see there are different kinds of shell found in the market and we become confused to choose. So we must be careful while buying the shells so the it won't do any harm to our phone. Instead of using the flip case you should use the simple shell like a back cover.
