Doctor Who iPhone app - what copyright laws apply here?
So say I want to make a Doctor Who themed iPhone app. Say, a sonic screwdriver that makes cool noises. Would there be any laws against this?
You can't legally produce an app using anything from Doctor Who without permission from the company that owns the copyright. You'd have to license the rights.

My friend has a different type of smartphone, and his screensaver is the outside of the TARDIS, and when you slide it open, it's the inside.
