Does a call go through right away when you call someone?

I got this iPhone 5 and I was on Facebook scrolling through stuff and I guess i hit someone's phone number and my phone automaticity started calling the number. I hit end as soon as I could but did that person get that call? I accidentally called someone before and I didn't think it went through cause I hit end right away but they kept calling back. I just don't want this person to have my number.

There are a lot of factors that you need to take into consideration. Such as; How many bars of signal you had at the time, what service provider you, have what service provider they have, how long was it ringing for and did they answer the phone.

Generally the packets take a little bit of time to get to the cell phone tower then after your phone connects to the phone call it has to find their phone which generally takes about 3 to 5 seconds (depending again on what signal strength they had on their phone at the time).

if your phone call was between 3 and 4 1/2 seconds they probably did not get your call.

calls connect normally at 5-7 seconds

Nope it doesn't if your on the phone for at least 20 seconds than no sire? Does this help

It does take a moment for the recipients phone to start ringing but I can't tell you exactly how long that "moment" is. Usually if you end the call as soon as your phone starts calling then it usually doesn't ring on the other end. But if you said it happened before even though you ended the called right away then i don't know what other answer to give you except maybe.
