Does a good mic make a difference?
I've been recording raps for fun on my iPhone mic (I know)
I'm not taking it serious but I wan't to make a couple songs, and I'm thinking of spending 200-300 on a mic, When i record with my iphone it makes my voice sound pretty deep, will a good mic balance everything out?
Depending on the mic you get it should balance things out
Dude I've heard local artists on youtube use 30 dollar mics and they're good quality. I don't know how far you want to go/how serious you are so I don't want to force any decision on you, but Imho 200/300 is overkill
- Why don't my iPhone headphones with mic work with my Mac? When I plug my headphones in, they work fine. The remote works too. I just can't get the mic to work. System Preferences doesn't detect them, and I can't set them up with Audio MIDI Setup. They work perfectly on my iPhone, but not my Mac. I know they work with Mac's, because I have seen people state on the Apple website that they do. I need help! MacBook Pro 13 inch (Early 2011) Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4
- Mic on iPhone 4 not working? I have the iPhone 4 running the latest iOS. I can't talk, because the other person can't hear me. I can record voice memos, it comes out blank. But I can record my voice using the video recorder. It's a used iPhone, but the last time the mic didn't work was over a month ago.
- Iphone mic doesn't work during call? I thought, maybe the mic stopped working completely, but i did facetime with my cousin and she heard me perfectly. The iphone mic its self doesn't work during calls only!
- How to get my iphone headphone mic to work on Pc without splitter? So i pluhhed the things into my mic jack, and ided them as mics, and when i tap them together the computer registers it as volume and noise comes out from my separate speaker, but it won't pick up my voice at all. Only when i touch them together. How do i set them up?
