Does a nano sim cutter work for normal full sized sim cards?

I need to cut my sim card so it can fit into the unlocked iphone 5

Yes but you may need to file the width of the card to slim it down

Yes, it does work although the people won't think that it will work but it will because my brother got an iPhone and he had a full sized sim card and it works fine. The people cutting will probably think that it won't work like they did with my brother but just get them to do it and it will work fine.

I wanted to get a b-mobile data-only SIM card for my phone but they do not sell it in the nano SIM card size. I know I won't be able to get LTE with my iPhone 5 but I'm willing to get 3G as long as it means I get any data. Does anyone know where I can buy a nano SIM cutter in Tokyo as well as sandpaper?
