Does an iOS update use storage?
If I hook up my iPhone 6 to my laptop, will the iOS update use storage on my phone?
Yes. A lot.
No temporary storage is required if you update from iTunes on your laptop. Only if you update via Wi-Fi will you need extra storage to temporarily store the update file.
- What to do about my iphone storage saying I'm using up way more photo storage than I actually am? My storage says I have 132 photos that's using up most of my storage; almost 3 GB. I have only 52 photos and 15 videos in my phone. It seems like it may be using storage from pictures I deleted, but apparently they're still using space? ? Has this happened to anyone else. I've taken my phone to an apple store, and I didn't get any answers.
- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
