Does an iPhone work well with T-mobile?

I'm mainly concerned with the texting.
When people text iPhone to iPhone, a little speech bubble shows up letting the other person know that the other one is typing a message.
Will this feature still work between a Verizon iPhone and a T-mobile iphone?

Yes, since it's still an iPhone (same maker, just different bandwidth used by the network).

Also my friend your phone will run on edge meaning your data will run slow.tmoblie will soon come out with a iphone 3G kit to have phone run on 3g instead of 2g if they tell you your running edge then expect slow data

Calling and Texting will work fine and your bubble thing will work fine too. But you won't have 3G as the 3G bands of T-Mobile are not supported by iPhone. You'll get 2G (EDGE) and have Wi-Fi so internet won't be a problem.

  • Would metro PCS and iPhone work well? I'm buying an iPhone 4S and I'm apparently (my parents) wanna switch to metro PCS, in fact they ARE GOING to switch by the end of the year. I've heard that metro doesn't have a very good service, but a couple of other people have told me that it depends on the phone I have, so… Would the service of metro work well with the iPhone? (By service I mean if I would get signal pretty much everywhere and browse fast to the Internet)
  • Will an iphone 5 work well with virgin mobile? My parents can't afford to buy me a phone with a contract plan. They bought me a tracfone and i have to pay for minutes. I just recently got my first job and i finally have enough to upgrade. I'm looking at getting virgin mobile and buying an iphone 5. Will having Virgin mobile reduce the ability of the iphone?

  • Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?
