Does an iphones original service provider matter?

Due to circumstances I need to buy a new iphone off amazon. Some of them are labeled as verizon, at&t, ect. Does it matter if the phone had a different original service provider than yours?

Yes. Some service providers use GSM chipsets and some use CDMA. I know that Verizon uses GSM and most (if not all) others use CDMA. You can use an iPhone on a different provider than the original one provided the two providers both use the same chipset. Basically, don't buy a Verizon one if you aren't going to be using Verizon.

Yes.

Nope unless its a china make
