Does and iPhone data plan cost the same as other smartphones?
I will soon be getting an iPhone. I have Verizon and I currently have a Samsung continuum smartphone and I have unlimited data (now not available, so would be 2gb), unlimited texts, and 700 shared minutes of calling. I was wondering, if I get an iPhone 5, would the price of this data and stuff go up? I know that I can't get unlimited data now, so I would get 2gb. Would the price stay the same or would it go up just because it is an iPhone?
The prices would stay the same. Just because you switch phones doesn't (necessarily) mean the cost of services will go up.
If I were you, I would buy the iPhone at full price to keep the unlimited data. It would cost an arm and a leg, but I would try as hard as you can to keep the unlimited data.
It you use stuff like facetime, that will consume alot of data… Unless you do it on Wi-Fi.
Yes all data plans cost the same on the same carrier
Please answer mine.
- With a Verizon data plan, does an iPhone 5 cost extra monthly? Need an upgrade, have unlimited texts and 2gbs a month. Will getting the iPhone increase my monthly bill?
- Why iPhone Wi-Fi better than other smartphones? We have Wi-fi in our job, only a guy who owns an IPhone is able to use his Wi-Fi, the others persons who own other smartphone can't connect to Wi-Fi in our company. Why?
- Why are Iphones so expensive than other smartphones in the market? Iphones are manufactured in China… So the manufacturing cost should be very low. Of couse, they have done a lot of R&D work… But so have other smartphone companies like Samsung, HTC etc While you can get other smartphones in the market with same features as in Iphones (or even more features than in Iphone), why are Iphones so overpriced?
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
