Same, it's just you're used to seeing your self reversed, you might be average looking.

Selfie cameras are right up there in your face, closer than the distance from your eyes to your mirror self, the lighting is usually different, and the image is distorted by the lens. So, you're seeing a weird exaggerated and reflected version of yourself in the picture. Flaws you may have been ignoring are right there shouting at you.

Any professional photographer will use a real camera with a telephoto lens for people. The only time you use wide angle lens is situations like when I was a model, to make my boobs look bigger. But you can tell it was wide angle setting because my stomach and face pooched out, like I was two years old.

YES! Everytime mine switches over I feel sick to my stomach and think I look hideous. Yet I feel pretty in the mirror. I know the image is flipped and all that but yes the iphone front facing camera is the least flattering camera I've ever seen myself in and I feel that way about most cameras
