Does Disneyland still take pictures of people who have a 3 or more day ticket?

I went in February 2013 and before we entered the park, cast members with iPhones (ya know, with the bar code scanner thingy on them) first asked how long the ticket was for. If it was two days or less then they would let you go to the turnstiles. But if your ticket was for three or more days, then they would scan it and check to make sure it was your ticket. Your own picture should pop up (I'm not sure how they got the photo, we only had two day passes. I think they take it on the first day you use the ticket, but i really don't know). The cast members said they were doing these things to make sure people were using their own tickets (I guess).

Anyways, I'm going mid-August 2013 with a larger group (than before and with 3-day passes) and I was wondering whether or not they were still doing this.

Yes they are.
i was just there in late june and had a 4 day ticket and we had our pics taken and then every time we entered they had to look at the pic to make sure it matched.
