Does FaceTime cost money for overseas?
I have a iPhone 5C with Sprint 3G. I want to talk to my cousin who lives in Japan (I live in the US) with Face Time, but my parents fear that it might cost money. Does it? I use Cellular Network because my house doesn't have Wi-Fi.
FaceTime is a free video chat app, but I don't think it will let you FaceTime with a 3G network, but if it does, they won't charge you a fee for international video calling but It will affect your data plan depending how much of data you have.
Hope I helped!
It will since you are using a cellular network, since it's overseas. If you connect to a Wi-Fi network at a restaurant or store or something you can face time for free.
Its free, you can use Wi-Fi anywhere and facetime (and imessage also) is always free no matter where you are at.
Yes it would cost money (as does anything involving cellular data) but it wouldn't cost anymore than it would normally cause you are doing that to an overseas based person.
- I restricted FaceTime from my child's iPhone 5s but she can still make FaceTime calls to her friends because there's a video icon? There's a video icon next to her friends name in her phone list. How can I completely remove this icon please?
- How much money does it cost to cancel your contract for tmobile? I'm on a family plan, what if I want to cancel my number and switch to Verizon? How much does it cost to start a single plan at Verizon if I want to get an iPhone?

- How much does the facetime cost on iPhone 5? Is it free? I heard that its free if there's Wi-Fi, is it true? Should the "use cellular data" be on if i want it for free? I faced time with my friend for like 1 and half hour, and the "cellular data" was one, did it cost any?
