Does iCloud free up space on my iPhone?
I was just wondering if I back up stuff to iCloud does it free up space on my iPhone or just creates a copy?
For the most part, it'll just create a copy of your settings, contacts, photos, etc, but if you've got your photos backed up into iCloud's PhotoStream, you can delete the pictures from the phone itself to free up space but still have the pictures.
- Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
- Why does my iPhone free space go down so fast My iPhone free space has gone down from 8.45mb left to 8.43mb and all i have done is put 3 songs on? I know it shouldn't do this because it never used to?
- Why did the space on my iphone randomly free up? So not long ago, i had like 6.3 gb used up (i have an 8 gb, and it sucks balls, cuz i can't have *** on my phone) and now, randomly, without deleting anything, it went down to 5.7? I did nothing to it, it just randomly did this. Is theree any reason this could have happened? I just wanna know cuz i'm afraid my phone might be deleting things by itself but i didn't notice anything gone… So has this happened to anyone else?
- My iPhone suddenly went from having 9.4 gb of free space to 7.5 gb of free space? I didn't download any apps or anything, or record any videos or take pictures. I didn't do anything, it just all of a sudden happened today. How can I fix it? I have a 16gb iPhone 5
