Does IMessage on the iPhone 5 use a lot of data?
My data allowance a month is 2 giga bytes and I tend to text a lot. I also use Pinger ( a free texting app as long as you have Wi-Fi or 4g LTE so it pretty much uses my data also.) so I was wondering if this would eat up all my data allowance very quickly. I send about probably less than 30 text messages a day using 4g LTE so would this use all the data?
IMessage is a messaging service that works between iOS devices running iOS 5 and later. It allows you to txt the other iOS devices for free.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- I use up a lot of my iphone 4 data 2 days ago i got an alert saying i used up 51% & i just got another alert today saying i used 75%. The data is shared between my dad and my stepmother and they barely use it. I keep my Wi-Fi on when i'm at home but it still uses up the data, somebody suggested to turn off " cellular data ", what's that going to do?
- I just got the iPhone 5s, Does iMessage use my data when I'm connected to Wi-Fi? I only have 5gb of data a month. Will iMessage use my data up when connected to Wi-Fi? also, when i leave the house and I'm no longer connected to Wi-Fi, will iMessage cost me? I don't want to go over my bill!
- How much data does iMessage use? I have 300MB of data per month. Inreally don't want to go over. I send between 3000-5000 texts a month, not all to people with iPhones. How many iMessage texts could I potentially send on my plan?
