Does Iphone 4s fall under Iphone 4 category?

This is a dumb question. But when ordering a iphone case it says "compatible with iphone 4", I have a 4s. Does the 4s fall under the "4" category too?

The iPhone 4S has the same shape as the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 was the first iPhone to have the current shape. So if it says it's compatible with iPhone 4 it means that it is a 4S case that will fit the iPhone 4. The 3GS was before the iPhone 4 and it has no square edges.

Richer and?-
I'm right. The iPhone 4 was the first iPhone with this form factor. So if it was iPhone 4 compatable it means it's an iPhone 4S case that can fit the 4. They do that because they can sell the cases to more people. You guys are stupid for telling me I'm wrong. Yes, we know there are differences, but you just have to use your brain and actually comprehend what the question is asking.

Both the other answerers are INCORRECT. IPhone 4s has a minute difference in its design. You can find a cut right below the volume button in 4s unlike iPhone 4. Also there's a cut right opposite to that on the other edge. This is because Apple wanted to resolve the network connectivity issues of iPhone 4. So an extra antenna is there. You iPhone 4 cover will NOT fir on iPhone 4s. There will be a slight odd looking place left in the volume button region.

Many of the iPhone 4 cases will fit the iPhone 4s but not all. It should state which model specifically like here:

Eric is right. The 4 case will fit the 4S. Same shape.

  • Will Apple be releasing a new iPod Touch in the fall? Along with the new iPhone (s)? I want to get a new one as a gift for a special somebody, but I'd rather get the latest one than one that will be outdated in a month or so. So the question is is it likely that Apple will be updating the iPods? Should I wait for that? Or is there no chance if that so I should get the current colored models?
  • What's with the Other: Category on my iPhone? Everytime I plug it into iTunes it goes up a little.yesterrday it was at 0.95 MB now its at 1.01 GB. Is there a way to make it go down other then having it restored? And also what makes up the "other" category on the iPhone?
  • What is the other category on my iPhone storage? When I connect my iPhone to my computer I see nearly 5.0GB of "other" in the storage. I only have a 16 GB iPhone so it's clearly a problem. What is this "other" and how can I fix the issue?
  • What is in the Other category on my iPhone storage? I have an iPhone 4 (not 4s), and when i plug it into my computer, it says there's 3.5gb of Other, but i don't know what's in this "Other" category. I cleared all my web history/cache/cookies, and deleted tons and tons of emails along with all my text conversations and recent calls, but that barely did anything. What else can i do to reduce the size of this category?
