Does iPhone Signal Strength Deteriorate Over Time?

My iPhone 4 recently crossed over the 1.5 year mark, and I've noticed that signal strength has a suddenly deteriorated recently.

I'm making calls at the exact same locations as before but they are in-and-out or dropped with increasing frequency while data connection is also worse.

Do all phones deteriorate like this close to the 2 year upgrade cycle?

No, this is not really possible. I also haven't heard issues like this before.

  • Why does Netflix keep pausing and playing over and over? I'm using it on my iphone 4. And I have checked my connections over and over I've uninstalled reinstalled, signed in signed back and everything else that the troubleshoot website has recommend. And it's gotten annoying. It didn't start doing this as much until I updated the app before the ios 7 release. I'm currently using the trial for netflix and my laptop doesn't work so I can get it on anything but my phone.
  • My iPhone suddenly has weak Wi-Fi signal strength? This has been going on for about a week now and it happened suddenly. My 3GS suddenly has terrible Wi-Fi signal strength, meaning that if I'm in my room now, I can't get Wi-Fi while sitting on my bed. I have to be on the same floor basically as my router. Is there something I can do? Is there dust blocking something? Tips please?
  • My iPhone 4S keeps turning off over and over and over again? I was on my phone just listening to OM&M on pandora and going on twitter when all of a sudden it shut off and now it's stuck on the turning off screen for like an hour or two. What do i do I'm FREAKING OUT.
  • Internet is running slow but strength is excellent? The internet on my iPhone & laptop are both running slow. It says excellent connection but when I try to watch a video on youtube or load a webpage it takes forever to load even though i'm in the same room as the router. I called my isp and the solution worked for like an hour. I tried unplugging router. It's not because of multiple devices being on at the same time. Any idea on how to fix this?
