Does iPhone X force you to use passcode a lot with face ID?

How often does it ask for passcode? I've heard that if you don't turn it on for a while it will ask you to type it in? I don't like typing in passcodes.

Yes, but you have to find out how to get used to holding your phone to your face, it takes some getting used to, looking down at it is easiest and quickest, walking in a straight line or lying down is not so easy; you have to lift higher and focus with it steadier.

In terms of asking for passcodes, only if you get the face ID wrong multiple times; sometimes it is literally easier to use a passcode lol.

Possibly so or not

I believe there's a 6 hour time gap that if you don't use Face ID (in this case, Touch ID in older phones case) you would have to put in the passcode.

It'll only ask for the passcode if:
1) 6 hours pass without using Face/Touch ID
2) Face/Touch ID fail to recognise what's necessary to unlock
3) a restart of the iPhone
