Does keeping Apps open at the bottom of my iPhone 4 use data?
You know how you double click the home button and all the little apps that you've recently had open appear? Does that mean that they are in use and using data? What does "using data" in general include?
No it does not but it uses your battery life
Anything done while using 3G/4G is counted as data use. May not necessarily be those apps doing anything. Apps like Mail for example occasionally check for mail in the background, that's data use.
- What order do the apps on the bottom of an iPhone go? I like my apps to be in the order that they are when the iPhone is set up, they have all been mixed around and I want to know which order the apps on the bottom of the iPhone go (the mail, safari, music and phone apps).
- Switching cell phone carriers while keeping same iPhone? Can I keep my iPhone and switch carriers w/out getting a different phone & also (if possible) w/out jail-breaking my current one. I ask this because the box on my iPhone doesn't mention any particular provider. - Quick formatting iPhone? Deleting all data, but keeping the current iOS as brand new? Besides going to settings-general-reset-Erase all content and settings? It takes hours long to format. I'm not asking for the restore with itunes. I want to format it quick. Any tools available in the software market?
