Does my iPhone have cold weather damage?

I work in fast food and there's a walk in freezer that stays at 36-40 degrees and I go back and forth looking for food to prep or bringing people items to prep and my iPhone is in my pocket and I'm wondering does it get damage to the weather in there

I know that Iphones are hypersensitive tot heat, but i don't think coldness. I suppose maybe if condensation of the air in the freezer could get into the software, but, i don't think so.

  • Why does my Iphone lose battery in cold weather? I have an Iphone 5 and i usually keep it charging, but when it's like on 70% and i'm outside in 15-40 degree weather, all of a sudden it says that I only have 20% left, than about 1 minute later it says I have 10% left and than 20 seconds later, it dies. This has happened around 5 times and my question is why does my phone do this? And how can I fix it so it doesn't happen anymore?

I want to know what app this is so I can download it. She had an IPhone. I was going to ask what it was but before I got a chance they called her in the back.
