Does playing large iPhone games weaken the battery over the long run?

I got a new iPhone and I love it and want to keep it in pristine condition as long as possible. For some reason, I've always had this (irrational?) fear that playing big games like Dead Trigger, Grand Theft Auto, and Shadow Gun on my other iPhones would lower the battery because it makes it die faster.
If you could help me out as well as maybe cite a website or something so I know it's a little more official.

When you play games, the network data (and) is processing a lot more that if you were texting or listening to music. When your playing a game your phone is running a lot more. Let's say texting takes up 15% of your motherboard, playing a graphic intensive game like dead trigger can optimize 85-90% of your processor.

Obviously the more graphics and fast paced game will burn battery faster, but what weakens battery over time is just how many charges it takes and weather (cold weather is bad for batteries). The bottom line is they will last years though.

Haha, no your iPhone will be fine after Hardware intensitive games/software. The only problem you will have is fast energy drain which won't hurt your battery memory, so unless your iPhone hits super hight heat temperatures then your hardware will be fine.
