Does replacing my phone screen on my iPhone 5s reset it to factory settings? - 1

No, it doesn't.

No. The screen has nothing to do with the rest of the phone. Even if you changed the digitizer (The actual screen that shows everything under the glass) it would still leave everything else unchanged.

Not at all. As long as the replacement goes fine, don't worry about it. Just be extremely careful with the TouchID flex cable. If you rip that, your Touch ID will never work again.

  • What will happen if I reset my iPhone to factory settings? And how do I do it? I just got iOS7 but I have to say, I'm very disappointed with the outcome. If I reset it to "factory settings" will it go back. Also if I do that will it delete everything on my iPhone. Actually, scratch that.iOS7 already deleted EVERYTHING. I very much dislike this. How do I go back?
