Does Royal Mail bring parcels by postman or van?

I've ordered a phone and it is roughly the same size as the Galaxy/iPhone boxes, would it come with postman or the van?>

It could come with either, it may not even come by Royal Mail!

That would presumably depend on who is available to do the round on that day. With our street, parcels are usually delivered by separate van although small packets are delivered to a collecting box at the end of the road, and foot/bike postie picks them up and brings them up the road.

Not a Royalty question btw, although clearly YA has picked up the word royal in this question.

It depends on what time of day it was sent and what time of day it is to be delivered too

Don't postal service parcel deliverers come in vans anyway…

Of course there's a limit to the size of the parcel the post person can carry. Anything bigger comes by van.

If the post man/woman can put it in their bag they may well bring it, i had quite a large book delivered this way a little while ago, it may depend on how much they have that day as to whether it comes to you on foot or by van.
