Does taking pictures and videos on an iPhone 5 cost extra money?

Will taking pictures and videos on my iPhone 5 cost extra against my monthly phone bill?

Only if you upload them which increases your usage. Simply taking pictures and videos and leaving them on the phone has no effect on your bill. You can however, use a home wireless network to upload or share on your computer. This does not contribute to your cell data usage.

NO! The only thing the phone company can charge you is texting calling puchasing apps and internet.

  • Will using my iPhone's hotspot cost extra money? I have an iPhone 4s (which is up to date on all IOS updates) and I have the unlimited data plan at AT&T. I'm leaving for a road trip tomorrow, and I wanted to turn the hotspot on so I could use that Wi-Fi on my laptop during the trip so I won't get bored. It says I need to set up an account for it, which I will do later… But would any extra charges be added to my bill?
