- IPhone 4S stops playing music but shows that its playing? My iPhone 4S is experiencing yet another problem. Now it will randomly stop playing music. The volume slider just disappears and it shows that the song continues to play. I have tried different headphones, no headphones, a hard resart, and twice tried a software reset( once to local backup and once to factory settings).
