Does the iPhone 5 screen get dents easily
I placed my iPhone in my pocket, and I was leaning on a table. My pocket was leaning to the edge of the table, which means that the sharp edge of the table was pressurizing the iPhone in my pocket. Will the screen curve inwards or have any dents because the table was pushing on it? I see no dents, but I'm afraid of unnoticeable dents.
The glass on the iPhone is fairly strong, and more likely to crack than dent/bend under extreme pressure. So no worries for dents.
Also, just try to put the phone in your pocket with the screen facing to your body. That's what I do, never had any issues.
The screen itself is made of an incredibly strong glass that is difficult (but not impossible!) to break. The construction of the iPhone 5 makes it less likely to break than previous iPhones, though obviously a serious enough fall will break any phone. The actual metal around the edge is a little softer, so it may dent a little with a hard drop, but because it's softer it's less likely to transfer the shock to the glass and shatter it.
In terms of what you are talking about, no the glass is very unlikely to curve or warp without heat. The kind of pressure required for that would shatter the glass first.
It gets dents just as easily as any phone. Which is pretty easily. I don't think you should worry much about 'unnoticeable' dents though.
No you'll be fine, although I'm in the habit of always carrying my iphone in my pocket, screen facing in… I do that naturally all the time now, that way you don't bump into a sharp corner walking or something like that where it could hit the screen hard.
- Will scratches and minor dents void my iPhone 4's warranty? Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button. Will this void my warranty in any way?
- Why do iPhone screen crack so easily? I use to have the iPhone 4S now I have SG4. When I have the iPhone the screen is easily cracked especially when screen facing down. But when my SG4 dropped on the ground facing down it is not cracked, not a tiny bit. So what makes the iPhone screen so easily cracked?
- Scratches and dents on my stuff All my things have scratches or dents. I try and take good care of my stuff but accidents have happened. Should I still feel like my stuff is awesome? Like i have a tiny scratch on my lcd screen and a tony scratch on my iphone and bottom of my mac book pro also a tiny dent on my ps3. Or should I feel terrible. :/
