I had a Note 3 and the battery life was far superior to the s6
The Galaxy S6 was lauded for its poor battery life. The iPhone Plus models (6 Plus, 6s Plus & 7 Plus) have been praised for their battery life.
The S7 & S8 also have better battery life than the S6.
