By chip did you mean SIM card? No, Sprint is a CDMA carrier, no SIMs. If you intend to put the phone on T-Mobile why not just by from them?

Replacing cdma chip iphone 4 sprint? I have a sprint sanyo scp-3810 and i recently purchased an iphone 4 sprint. I was wondering how to transfer my CDMA card from my current phone to my new one and if i would receive a data charge since my current plan is talk only and I have Wi-Fi at home and at school so I don't really need the data?
