Does The IRig Mic for the Iphone work on a pc computer?

I have a very popular country music blog, I'm headed to Nashville this summer for CMA Fest. I'm looking for a easy portable microphone to conduct interviews and came across the IRig Microphone for the Iphone. I love this because it seems so easy, but does it work with a PC computer? Looking for a portable microphone that i can use at the studio and out on the road.

It will not work with the computer directly but you can download the files to the computer from the iphone and then edit them or whatever.

It might with an adapter that converts iPhone compatible earphones to the two PC microphone and earphone plugs.

But I would instead get an iPhone XLR micro phone interface, and a more or less common XLR dynamic microphone, and for the PC an audio interface that has XLR inputs.

  • Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring. I have a normal iPhone 5 and I enjoy music but when I listen to my songs only one earbud will work while the other one is dead. I can go on my computer and they will both work so I was wondering why they both won't work on my phone?
  • Why don't my iPhone headphones with mic work with my Mac? When I plug my headphones in, they work fine. The remote works too. I just can't get the mic to work. System Preferences doesn't detect them, and I can't set them up with Audio MIDI Setup. They work perfectly on my iPhone, but not my Mac. I know they work with Mac's, because I have seen people state on the Apple website that they do. I need help! MacBook Pro 13 inch (Early 2011) Mac OSX Lion 10.7.4
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
  • Iphone mic doesn't work during call? I thought, maybe the mic stopped working completely, but i did facetime with my cousin and she heard me perfectly. The iphone mic its self doesn't work during calls only!
