Does the kindle fire get outdated like iphone?
If i was to buy the kindle fire first generation could I use any app? Or does it get outdated and non usable with some apps like the ipod 2nd gen?
All tech products evolve. If any app doesn't run on a new bit of kit, then it's the app that needs to be updated. It depends on whether the app was a recognised app (like a banking app or a popular game app) or wether the app was just made up by some Joe Bloggs, who wouldn't necessarily update it
As far as I know, the 1st generation Kindle Fire continues to work with everything.
In fact, the first gen Kindle Fire has Flash built-in, which allows you to view more content on the web than the later models can.
At some point there will be apps that can't run on first gen Kindle Fire. But not yet.

- My Netgear Wi-Fi won't work on my iphone or kindle fire? My Wi-Fi was working perfectly fine but then just stopped working. Now my iphine and kindle fire can't find our Wi-Fi. Even my laptop says no networks found. I'm still able to get online through our home computer which is ran by hughes net but thats it. On the netgear modem the lights for power, internet and number two are all on so i have no idea what's wrong.
