Does the lightning cable charge the iphone faster than 30 pin?
I feel like the lightning cable is charging the iphone 5 faster than the 30 pin did with my 4S. Within 30 minutes, the iPhone 5 went from 20% to 70-80% while the 4S probably would've still been at 50-60%
It actually depends on the battery type the are using. I always charge flat to full and give it a good 8 hour charge overnight, short term charging only shortens the life of the battery.
Yes it would be quicker apple made the new lightning connector because its faster and smaller so it looks better on phones haha but yes it is better
- Which off brand lightning charge cable for iPhone should I buy? I have tried the cheaper ones on eBay and one from the tiger store but they wobble in the socket and don't charge it. Can anyone recommend a brand as I don't want to pay for the apple one. (Also it isn't the phone that's faulty as a friends cable worked)

- Lightning to 30-pin adapter? I have an ihome and an iphone 5. Obviously my iphone 5 won't fit onto my ihome so i ordered an adapter for it to work on Ohcase.com and it doesn't work. It said it was not able to work because it wasn't certified and not realible for my iphone. Where could i get a good one that is certified for cheaper than $20?
