Does this look like a professional image?

Hey so i don't know if this pic looks professional cause i did take it on my iphone on a self timer app. Apart from the grainy quality (obviously since i didn't take it on a canon ) does this picture of me look sort of professional? Thanks for your opinions! X

No. It doesn't look like a professional image.

While the exposure is dead on and the lighting is fine, there are some things that a pro would not do.

They would not use a wide angle lens.

How do I know the shot was done with a wide angle lens? The features of the model are distorted.

The makeup does not look like it was professionally applied, something a pro would require.

Making a mirrored image of a shot is not typical of something a pro would do.

Edit: I just looked for the EXIF data and it is missing on this image. Pros always include their copyright notice and contact information it their image metadata

It's a photo taken with a phone camera and although it's a bit of fun, it's not professional.
Quite a good shot without the double image which wasn't necessary.

It's not professional looking. The image quality is fairly poor, it's quite noisy, and it isn't sharp - and a wide angle lens has been used, which has distorted the models head. Although it's a fun shot and decent enough as a snap, it comes no where close to professional standards.

Have you ever seen a professionally taken photograph? Perhaps it's time to go take a look at some professional fashion photographers work - then compare these with yours.
