Does this seem awkward to do (for girls)?

So I made a friend in college and we've known each other since the beginning of the semester (around 4 months) and we actually became quite good friends [please keep in mind we're of opposite gender]. I noticed she has a 'bottom-of-the-barrel' phone (hell, it's not even a smartphone) and I have an old iPhone 3GS lying around in my room and I'm wondering if I should give it to her as a Christmas gift? (I didn't even originally buy the phone, a friend of mine gave it to me since he had the new iPhone 5).

Would it be awkward if I gave it to her? (I really don't want her to think I'm pressuring her for a relationship - but is a phone too much)?

I would! Just let her know how you thought she may want a better phone, and it was laying around in your room not getting used. I think it would be fine!

I think it depends on what kind if friends you are, what condition the globe is in etc. It's what I like to call neutral ground. It's not personal for either of you, but that's not too blatant either. It also depends on what she thinks of you, is it a friendly or serious relationship

  • Would this honestly be awkward? I can't deny I have strong feelings for my guy friend (best friend to me.) This is kinda random-but I miss him much we both go to college-we have hung out a lot since but now it's been awhile. Having his picture as my wallpaper on my iPhone helps me get through those days. It's one of him looking up and smiling while laying back down I cropped the photo from one of his youth outings. How would he react if he accidentally saw that on my iPhone?
  • Why does my iphone 5 replacement phone seem to have older graphics? For example, when I turn on your iphone 5, it had a sliced apple that's silver. When I turned on my replacement iphone 5 the apple is black. Also, the battery symbol there's much bigger and elongated while the original iphone 5 battery icon is small
  • Why does it seem like iPhone battery is better then andeoid? Like even though the android has a bigger battery it seems like like the iPhone lasts longer in every aspect. Why is this?
  • Why do girls copy other girls? There's this girl I know and she 1. I colored my hair brown, so she did 2. I became a cashier at a grocery store, she did 3. Wore my glasses, so she did 4. Went to a facemakeover, she did 5. Bought an iphone, she did Those are just a few. What would cause a girl to want to copy you so much?
