Does verizon give free upgrades if my contract isn't up yet?
If I have a Droid 2 Global (verizon) and I want an iPhone 5 (verizon), and my 2 year contract isn't up yet, will I have to pay a fee?
Yup, no doubt. Verizon doesn't give free upgrades anymore, if ever.
Umm, iPhone 5's aren't free on Verizon even with an upgrade. Even the 4s is still about $100.
Why would you replace your phone now? You'll save money if you do the adult thing and wait.
As for the upgrade fee - which is a fraction of what an iPhone 5 costs with an "upgrade" discount - Verizon doesn't waive these for people who wait the 2 years, why would they do that for you before that time? That would defeat the purpose of keeping you waiting and subscribed.
- Starting a new At&t contract and upgrades? Right now I'm under my parents att account, but me and my wife want to open our own account. I know when you open a new account you can buy subsidized phones. Now my wife and I already have iPhone 5s - we don't need new phones. So if we start a new account with att, when will our next upgrade be? Will it be in two years? Or will we be eligible to upgrade whenever we want since we didn't buy new phones when we open our account?

- How to convince Verizon to give me a free iPhone with free data plan? Okay so i have had my crappy Samsung slide phone for about a year and can't switch my contract now, but my phone won't work. I was on the phone with verizon and they won't work with me what is something that will help me get them to give me the iphone (anyone) for free with free data?
